A thoughtful and pensive concept piece introduced by Foreman, the form begins with an antiphonal introduction, followed by a percussive interlude and stormy melodic statement from the bass, and inverted on the guitar in canon. As the storm clears, the third section offers the same bass melody at one-quarter of the note division with a mixture of melodic enhancement and clustered harmonizations on guitar. All comes to rest as Debussy might.

We added some evocative sonic imagery during the mix (queue that distant thunder) both for suggestive effect and also to mask some bothersome pedal switching clicks picked up by the room mics.
